ADvancing States, along with more than 50 other organizations, today sent a letter with President Biden urging him to direct the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to reopen the Medicare national coverage determination for Aβ PET scans used in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. The letter urges the President to take this step to enable patient access to diagnostics and ensure the decision is inclusive of promising new data on disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimers disease.
