ADvancing States Deputy Executive Director Camille Dobson has been named to the new National Quality Forum Committee on Home and Community-Based Services Quality. The National Quality Forum, the organization that endorses quality measures for the U.S. healthcare system, is set to begin a two-year project to identify new quality measures for home and community-based systems. The project will be guided by a 20-person committee of experts from the aging and disability networks, consumers, providers and health plans. Ms. Dobson, who joined ADvancing States last July after 10 years with CMS, will represent the interests of States providing HCBS services. The NQF project will provide three separate opportunities for public input and comment.
